REACH Launches a Webinar Series on Adolescent Health and Wellbeing

The Reproductive Education and Adolescent Community Health (REACH) Project has launched a webinar series to discuss topics that matter most to young people.

The webinar series forms part of the project's public education initiative to increase awareness of adolescent sexual and reproductive health, strengthen parent and community engagement, and promote access to accurate, evidence-based information. The sessions cover mental health, nutrition and healthy lifestyles, the teen brain, parent and teen communication, and stigma reduction.

The webinars feature experts who will share practical knowledge, evidence-based approaches, and strategies to support adolescents in making informed decisions and adopting healthy behaviours. ​ The webinars include an interactive question and answer segment.

About the REACH Project

Funded by Global Affairs Canada, REACH Project is working to ensure "no adolescent is left behind" in Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. ​ ​ The Project aims to empower adolescents with knowledge and confidence to advocate for their own health and well-being. ​ It also seeks to strengthen the capacity of providers to deliver adolescent-friendly services, particularly in sexual and reproductive health.

The four-year regional initiative is implemented by Alinea International in collaboration with the Caribbean Technical Assistance & Education Centre for Health (C-TECH), and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission.
