OECS Appoints Aisha Maina as Strategic Advisor for Africa-Caribbean Cooperation

The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission is proud to announce the official appointment of Ms. Aisha Maina, Chief Executive Officer of Aquarian Consult Limited, as OECS Strategic Advisor for Africa-Caribbean Cooperation.

The appointment, effective July 1, 2026, marks a pivotal moment in advancing transatlantic South-South collaboration. Ms. Maina’s role will serve as a vital catalyst in forging historic bridges between the Eastern Caribbean and the African continent.

Ms. Maina brings to the Commission an extraordinary record of visionary leadership. As CEO of Aquarian Consult Limited, she has led high-impact initiatives spanning governance, trade, energy, agribusiness, social impact, and the creative economy. Her strategic expertise and deep network across public and private sectors in Africa will be instrumental in elevating trade, investment, and cultural linkages to unprecedented levels.

In her advisory mandate, Ms. Maina will work directly with the Office of the Director General to guide policy frameworks and operational strategies that unlock tangible, mutual economic benefits.
