Message of Condolence: Sharon Greene-Rogers

"A life well lived is a precious gift, of hope and strength and grace, from someone who has made our world a brighter, better place." - Author Unknown

It is with profound sadness that the OECS announces the passing of our esteemed colleague, Sharon Greene-Rogers, fondly known to us all as Sherry, former Senior Administrative Assistant with the OECS Pooled Procurement Service (PPS). Sherry departed this life on Tuesday, 27 May 2026.

For more than 25 years, Sherry served the PPS with unwavering diligence and devotion. As one of the longest-serving members of staff, she helped shape the Service into what it is today, offering steadfast administrative support that became the quiet backbone of our daily work. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her remarkable organisational skills, and the calm professionalism she brought to every task.

Beyond her many contributions, Sherry will be cherished for her extraordinary resilience. Even in the face of grave trials, she carried herself with grace, courage, and quiet strength, never allowing adversity to diminish her warmth or her dedication to those around her.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Sherry's family, friends, and loved ones during this time of profound grief. Her legacy of service, kindness, and quiet strength will remain an enduring part of the Organisation's history.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

The OECS today, currently has twelve members, spread across the Eastern Caribbean comprising Antigua and Barbuda, Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, St Vincent and The Grenadines, British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Martinique, Guadeloupe and Saint Martin.
