OECS Webinar: Doing Business in Cuba - an initiative of the OECS Competitive Business Unit
The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States through its Dominica based Competitive Business Unit (CBU) is collaborating with national Ministries of Trade and Trade Promotion Agencies to organise joint representation of OECS Private Sector Firms at the 2016 Havana International Trade Fair from the 31st October to the 4th November. The CBU is also offering a Webinar: Doing Business in Cuba.
While a number of businesses from the Manufacturing, Agribusiness, Tourism and Service sectors from OECS Member Territories that are able to supply goods and services covered under the CARICOM-Cuba Trade agreement have been confirmed to attend, the OECS Competitive Business Unit is eager to encourage future OECS private sector engagement and representation by learning more about ''Doing Business in Cuba'' through an interactive Webinar.

What is FIHAV ?
FIHAV is a well-established Trade Fair that has taken place annually since 1983. It is the one of the most prestigious trade fairs hosted by Cuba which seeks to establish international commercial networking, facilitate exchange of experiences and provides opportunities for firms to gain insights into new technological developments.
The FIHAV succeeds in putting together the most comprehensive national trade exhibition with all sectors of the Cuban economy being represented and includes Consumer Goods, Machinery, Equipment, Technology, Raw materials and Services.
The 34th Edition of the FIHAV is expected to have more than 4,500 national and foreign exhibitors from over 60 countries, and expects to receive 150,000 visitors.
