FORMER OECS COMMISSION/IRU INTERN ATTAINS TOP HONOURS AT UWI
Ms Linnet Reid, a former intern with the OECS Commission’s International Relations Unit attained top honours at the UWI Mona Campus Graduation Exercises held in November 2018, earning First Class Honours for the B.Sc. in Politics and International Cooperation, and a Distinction for the M.Sc. in Politics and International Cooperation.
In reacting to the news, Ambassador Anthony Severin, Head of International Relations at the Commission indicated that he was “not at all surprised at the accomplishment”.
Ms Reid served a successful period of internship with the International Relations Unit of the OECS Commission in 2016 in order to fulfil part of the requirements for her studies under a tripartite BSc/MSc programme in Politics and International Cooperation involving The University of the West Indies, Université Antilles-Guyane, and the University of Bordeaux.
The International Relations Unit is proud of its relationship with Ms Linnet Reid and joins the Director General and Staff of the Commission to extend warmest congratulations to her, and to wish her the very best in her chosen field of Public Policy and International Political Economy of Development.
