Deadline Extended for Window 2 Call for Proposals – Regional MSME Matching Grants Programme

The Regional MSME Matching Grants Programme has officially extended the deadline for the Window 2 Call for Proposals from March 19, 2025 to Friday, March 28, 2025, at 11:59 PM. This extension provides eligible Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent & the Grenadines with additional time to submit applications for funding that supports business growth and sustainability in the Blue Economy.

The grant, ranging from $100,000 to $200,000 USD, is designed to strengthen Value Chain Groups in three key sectors:

Fisheries – MSMEs involved in fishing, seafood processing, and distribution working together to enhance sustainability and market access.
Marine Tourism – Businesses such as dive shops, coastal tours and coastal resorts collaborating to promote responsible tourism and environmental conservation.
Waste Management – Enterprises focused on plastic recycling, waste collection, and upcycling to reduce marine pollution and create sustainable business opportunities.

To qualify, MSMEs must apply as a Value Chain Group, consisting of at least three businesses collaborating within the same sector to improve efficiency, innovation, and competitiveness.

The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) is an International Organisation dedicated to economic harmonisation and integration, protection of human and legal rights, and the encouragement of good governance among independent and non-independent countries in the Eastern Caribbean. The OECS came into being on June 18th 1981, when seven Eastern Caribbean countries signed a treaty agreeing to cooperate with each other while promoting unity and solidarity among its Members. The Treaty became known as the Treaty of Basseterre, so named in honour of the capital city of St. Kitts and Nevis where it was signed. The OECS today, currently has eleven members, spread across the Eastern Caribbean comprising Antigua and Barbuda, Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, St Vincent and The Grenadines, British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Martinique, Guadeloupe and Saint Martin.
