Mainz, Germany: Academy for Foreign Coaches opens course for foreign sports trainers in athletics

The Academy for Foreign Coaches (DLV) in Mainz, Germany, has organised a course for foreign sports trainers in athletics. The OECS Commission applauds the German Honorary Counsel to St. Lucia, Mrs. Karolin Troubetzkoy for promoting the initiative which supports the OECS Sports Desk.
The Course Date: 1st of June 2017 – 31st of July 2018. The deadline of Application: 10th December 2016.

Sports Development in the OECS
The OECS Sports Desk was established in 1985 to develop a harmonized sports policy framework in recognition of the significant contribution sport can play in facilitating health outcomes, cohesive societies and driving investment in new sectors such as sports tourism. Governments of the OECS region have confirmed their increased commitment to the sports sector, through investments in sports facilities and the growth in the number of National Sports Federations in Member States.
